Recientemente, William fue elegido como mejor chef nacional por la Revista La Barra, un reconocido medio que destaca lo mejor de la gastronom\u00eda en Colombia.<\/p>\n<p> <!--more--> <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cambridge.edu.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/31\/2025\/01\/4-1-1.png\" alt=\"4 (1)-1\" width=\"300\" loading=\"lazy\" style=\"width: 300px;margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">El <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanguardia.com\/area-metropolitana\/bucaramanga\/un-chef-y-una-reposteria-los-bumangueses-galardonados-en-premios-nacionales-de-gastronomia-HN3843922\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">mejor chef del pa\u00eds<\/a> inici\u00f3 su pasi\u00f3n por la cocina desde los 16 a\u00f1os de edad, cuando tuvo la oportunidad de aprender de los mejores cocineros en el ic\u00f3nico restaurante Corcovado de Bucaramanga, en la d\u00e9cada de 1990. Posteriormente, continu\u00f3 su camino de aprendizaje en el gremio tur\u00edstico vinculado con reconocidos hoteles de la ciudad como Dann Carlton y Chicamocha, alternando su trabajo con su formaci\u00f3n como chef en el SENA. Desde hace cuatro a\u00f1os es el chef principal de la planta de alimentos de New Cambridge School, donde sigue deslumbrando con sus preparaciones para ni\u00f1os y adultos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">El chef William L\u00f3pez se caracteriza hoy en d\u00eda por su sello personal con iniciativas como los festivales gastron\u00f3micos de New Cambridge School, alineando la visi\u00f3n global del colegio con la exploraci\u00f3n de sabores y platos del mundo, deleitando a los estudiantes con preparaciones orientales, mexicanas, espa\u00f1olas, argentinas, caribe\u00f1as o de cualquier rinc\u00f3n del planeta con un festival cada mes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cambridge.edu.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/31\/2025\/01\/2-1-2-4.png\" alt=\"2 (1)-2\" width=\"300\" loading=\"lazy\" style=\"width: 300px;float: left\">\u201cAlimentar el futuro de Colombia es una de mis grandes pasiones para cocinar\u201d<\/span><\/em> fueron las palabras del chef de New Cambridge School al momento de aceptar su premio como mejor chef nacional.
