Not only have we achieved second place at the national level, but we are also the leading educational institution in Santander, according to the most recent edition of the ranking conducted by Sapiens Research.
We continue to lead education with excellence and quality: this time, we have been recognised as the second-best school in the country and the top school in the department, as highlighted in the 13th edition of the Col-Sapiens Ranking. On this occasion, the study evaluated 14,600 schools nationwide, of which only 5.53% (809 institutions) qualified – exclusively on merit.
The consultancy assessed both public and private schools, in rural and urban areas, and from both calendar A and B. The evaluation was based on two main criteria: category, linked to the quality of academic processes and the institution’s level of rigour; and rating, determined by students’ results in national examinations and international accreditations.
In this regard, institutions are classified as those that have maintained an A+ level in the ICFES and a total index equal to or higher than 0.80 in the two years prior to the publication of the results. They are then distributed into categories ranging from D1 (the highest) to D10 (the lowest), in addition to ratings that extend from AAA++ (the highest) to A (the lowest).
Our school achieved both the highest category (D1) and the top rating (AAA++), recognition that reflects the strength of our educational project, our academic excellence, and our unwavering commitment to quality and internationalisation.
It is worth noting that since 2015 we have consistently remained in the top two of this ranking, standing as a benchmark for education both in the department and across Colombia. “This achievement is the result of outstanding teamwork: students committed to their future, an academic staff aligned with the school’s standards of quality, and families deeply engaged in their children’s education,” stated our Headmistress, Carolina Charry.
“The synergy of these three actors has been essential. For us, the real feat does not lie in the position itself, but in consistency; we firmly believe that what truly matters is not simply reaching the top, but remaining there together as an educational community in pursuit of excellence,” she added.
For this reason, such recognition motivates us to continue growing, to pursue quality with passion, to champion a purposeful global education, and to consolidate ourselves as an institution that prepares integral, multicultural leaders capable of making a positive impact on the world.
