At Early Years we accompany young children, from 8 months to 5 years, in an environment designed to explore, discover and grow. Through our HighScope methodology, we promote active, experiential learning, where children plan, act and reflect on their experiences, developing independence, self-efficacy and social skills. With the close and caring guidance of our teachers, we encourage their curiosity in dynamic classrooms, open spaces and specialised areas that enrich each stage of their development, creating the foundations for meaningful and lasting learning.
We are inspired by this recognised methodology, in which children lead their learning, cultivating decision-making, teamwork and conflict resolution.
We awaken curiosity and critical thinking with projects that are born out of children’s interests, connecting their learning to the real world.
We develop social and emotional skills in children, while cultivating positive and assertive communication with them.
Our gradual and effective bilingual programme immerses children in a second language, developing confidence, communication and critical thinking.

Juliana Ortega
Early Years Cañaveral Director
Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, with a specialisation in Educational Management and certifications in Leadership and Active Methodologies. A bilingual professional with 15 years of experience in educational leadership, teacher training, and pedagogical innovation.
She has held leadership and coordination roles in academic and early years settings, worked as a pedagogical coach, and taught at the preschool level. This diverse background has provided her with a comprehensive understanding of both classroom dynamics and institutional processes.

Little Cambridge Cabecera Director
She has over 20 years’ experience in education, 16 of which have been in our school, as well as knowledge of the HighScope curriculum, which we deliver in pre-school. For the last three years she has been leading Little Cambridge Cabecera, our specialist early childhood site and is currently the head of the Early Years and Lower Primary academic team there.
